Yer Mom I heard the song 'A Better Plan' & thought it might just be a random fluke of amazing musicianship. Now I'm here buying this album & plan to buy all of the other albums, as well as future albums. This music reminds me of the 80's in all of the best ways, but better. I'm listening to this album right now & it feels like being reunited with a long lost friend. Or a beloved deceased pet. Familiar, yet exotic & new. It's like we live on the same planet. That's important. Those backing vocals melt me Favorite track: Let Go.

Christopher Pappas, the mastermind behind Elle Belle, encountered a series of challenges while creating the album "How Do I Feel?". Amidst the early days of the pandemic, he faced the added fear of having an autoimmune disease and a cancer scare. His mother suffered a heart attack, and a close friend tragically took his own life. These overwhelming experiences left Pappas feeling out of control. The album delves into the exploration of emotions, the disparity between expectations and reality, and the resilience needed to navigate life's unexpected turns. With introspective lyrics and a diverse musical landscape, the album captures both profound sadness and a glimmer of hope. While Pappas may not answer the album’s question directly, he discovers there's power in simply getting up, making the bed, grabbing that coffee, and moving forward.
